No Need to Panic. You can have better than a Courthouse Style or Office Wedding both Days. All guests welcome at the complex, and zoomed in if you prefer as well if you have someone to zoom them in.
1. Enjoy a mini vacation on the three day weekend: your wedding with all your guests present and zoomed in, a regular wedding with your dad walking you down the aisle and having a regular ceremony for only $100 for our Minister Officiant,, with no venue fee, and plenty of free parking. For all ceremony details visit: hlam.net/lakehening . Food, Beverages, and rest rooms are available two blocks away at the restaurants at Parham Road and Staples Mill Road. There is no place to change clothes at the Govt Center on weekends, so be sure to come with your Wedding attire on. You MUST bring your own chairs, and bring the sound system for the music as you walk down the aisle. When you come to the complex prior to Valentine's Day to get the venue walk thru, you would pay the $100 non-refundable consultation fee. You must be on time for your Wedding because of the number of Weddings that day. No Exceptions. Walk Ups with the marriage license and money cannot be guaranteed a time because of the number of Weddings expected on Valentine's Day.
2. If you have already chosen your own Virginia Location for your ceremony. The fee for our Officiant to come to your location would be between $200-$600.
3. If getting a marriage license during the week is a problem because of your work schedule, or you live in another State, or only one of you is able to go to the Court, we can assist you by getting you in touch with a Virginia Court that can assist you. Virginia has no waiting period , licenses are not notarized, witnesses are not required , the license is only valid for 60 days , and you can get your marriage license from any Virginia Circuit Court if you are getting married in Virginia.
4. Calls to schedule your venues Walk Thru and pay the non-refundable Consultation fee are received at Night between 7-9 seven days a week at 804-244-2302 and our other numbers as well. If you get the voice mail you MUST leave a message for your call to be returned.
Remember, we can't answer every call since we are the best Wedding Officiants in the Region. When we are between calls and between Weddings, we will return your call.
