Virginia/DC
Zoom/Phone Weddings
and Elopements.

Rev. Byron Sichert, the Top BRW Regional Prison Wedding Minister, performs the ceremonies and has served in the Ministry since 1983. Remote Marriages are normally not accepted by Homeland Security and ICE.

For only $100, I will perform your remote Wedding in Virginia by either Zoom or Phone (my choice) All guests are welcome. Remote DC Weddings are no longer legal, so all the DC Couples and Virginia Couples' call me to perform their remote ceremony. I have confirmed with Virginia that if you are in Virginia at the time of the ceremony, you must have a Virginia Marriage License , and a Virginia Court Authorized Officiant. I have the memo from a Virginia Govt Agency quoting the Virginia Attorney General who states that Virginia Law does not require the parties of the marriage to be in the presence of each other, and neither party has to be in the presence of the Officiant, but the ceremony must be performed in Virginia. Don't even think about a Utah County Utah Marriage License and a Utah Officiant with a Wedding in Virginia, because Virginia has confirmed that it is not legal. The Utah Officiants insist their Virginia Marriages. Are Legal but Virginia says they are not, and that Remote Marriages in Virginia must have a Virginia Marriage License and a Virginia Officiant. Virginia Courts give wrong information too, but I have the facts in writing. I perform non-religious, semi-religious, and Christian ceremonies. Remote Marriages are normally not accepted by Homeland Security and ICE. As the top remote Wedding Minister, I look forward to performing your ceremony.
